SR3 Power Box
SR3 Power Box – professional mount adapter, specially designed for Arriflex 16 SR3 camera.
Allows you to use one standard 14.4V V-Mount or Gold-Mount battery as a power source for your film camera and AKS.
A distinctive feature of this device is the presence of a galvanic isolated camera output 24V 150W 6.3A / 26V 150W 5.8A (switched by a button on the body).
On a couple of occasions we've faced that the old electronics of some Arriflex 16 SR3 blocking the 26V power source. At the same time, it accepts 24V smoothly. So we decided to build a 24/26V switch into all of our SR3 Power Boxes. By default, 24V is supplied to the camera output connector. By pressing a button the user will be able to choose between 24V 150W 6.3A / 26V 150W 5.8A power output options.
In addition, we recommend to use 26V output voltage for Hi-Speed modes.
The built-in DC-DC module steps-up and stabilizes the output voltage, and galvanically isolates it from the battery and other sockets for 100% protection against parasitic currents and interference.
SR3 Power Box is not just a battery plate - it is a high-tech professional power supply that steps-up, isolates, and stabilizes the output voltage for the camera,
ensuring optimal performance and longevity of the electronic components and accessories. Isolated and stabilized voltage increases the service life of the camera and its gear by completely breaking the closed loop
in the circuit, along which parasitic currents and interference wander, leading to burnout of electronics when powering several analog/digital devices from one source.
There are 6 additional power output sockets for your gear on board (2x D-Tap; 2x Fischer3pin; 2x Lemo2pin regulated 12V 30W 2.5A).
The body has mounting threads for attaching Bebob Amicro/Vmicro battery plates.
It has built-in overload, overheating and short circuit protections.
Supports camera operation in any Hi-Speed mode.

Important!!! - SR3 Power Box is supplied without Arri battery plate with magnet. To use our device, you need to have an old SR3 battery, detach a battery plate with a magnet from it and attach it on the SR3 Power Box (we provide the necessary screws and strong magnet replacement in the kit).
Important!!! - to mount SR3 Power Box on the camera, you also need an On-board Battery Adapter from Arri, which is not included with our device.
Important!!! - when using plates from old Arri batteries, their dimensions may vary slightly. This happens because the plastic dries out and deforms over time. The degree of deformation varies from battery to battery, depending on age and operating conditions. If your original Arri plate doesn't fit into it’s place of our SR3 adapter, you'll need to use a heat gun to heat the plate and return it to its original shape. We've repaired many Arri plates by this way.
